Adobe is the worst

Pretty low on the list of things that should be illegal but aren’t, I know, but still, this use of desktop push notifications should be illegal.

Screenshot of a Mac desktop push notification from Adobe soliciting the purchase of additional software. "Add Acrobat to your plan and unlock po... Buy now."

Of all the software/services we spend money on, Adobe software is what I resent the most.

Their pricing, subscription licensing and billing practices, customer support, team management tools, and abuse of notifications…all of it…it’s just the worst.

If someone produced a viable alternative to InDesign for print layout, we would switch right away.

My favorite is when Portable Document Format files don’t port. The worst indeed.

  2. Now it’s stuffed with ads for AI creative tools I do not want, yet *I* still have to find/relink the placed file or use the absolute worst dialog box to find the font.
